I left Corozal Town 10 years ago... I haven't been back since then. I now live in a city with 3.5 million people.... I miss the quietness of Belize. Hope to be back soon.

I love how sparsely populated the town seems. Is that due to COV-ID? Can't wait to check out Corozal and Chetumal when I come for a visit. I might hit you up for contacts....accommodations and transportation, once I get closer to the date. This town seems much more my style than the AC and CC. Reminds me of a small town in MX, simple folks who are not necessarily looking to cheat you blind....(they still have integrity).

That's the way Corozal always is and I went out on a busy Saturday morning. It is much better and cheaper than AC or CC. Plus being close to Chutumal is a bonus. We would run over the border for gas all the time as it is much cheaper in Chetumal. The people are friendly and nice and yes like many a small Mexican town. There are not many road signs. When you know the area you are okay, if not from there Google maps does the job quite well.
