Just found your channel and instantly subscribed! Cats and cookies, oh my. A tip to not getting eggshells in your baking (which totally didnt happen) is to crack the egg on a flat surface (benchtop) or on another egg if you wanna look cool. Cracking on the edge of the bowl causes shell shards to break inwards, falling into your food when pulling it open. These cookies look devine 🤤

One tip I have to making your cookies tasting sooooo sooo good is the brown your butter before making the cookies. It adds like a buttery caramel flavor. You should be able to find a vid on how to brown the butter but it’s pretty simple!! Loved your video!

So I made these cookies, but I only had dark brown sugar and I don't know if that's what messed it up (or the fact that I decided against putting chocolate chips. I know, sue me) but my cookies were flat. Now! Those cookies, although cardboard thickness, were freaking delicious. Almost like a cookie brittle, you could use it to top ice cream or maybe even make an ice cream bowl! They were caramel-ey and crispy. I would absolutely make them again exactly how I made them, but I also plan on making them the correct way one day 😂 but for now, thank you for helping me make a tasty mistake, and I hope to follow more of your recipes one day ❤️

It could also help to have your butter at room temp the next time you make them and that will make the cookies just a little thicker! I personally like the melted butter because I enjoy the flatter cookies, but this would work great and still give the same flavor ❤️❤️ thank you so much!
