Keep your faith tight💪🏽 Sometimes silence don’t mean that he’s not around or he doesn’t hear He is always at work in your life and he always hears you I recently felt the same way as you and I almost made a grave mistake It is normal to feel this way because as people of faith, we need to believe without seeing And a helpful tip I learned from someone is that when you open the Bible, God opens his mouth I give you a virtual hug and wish you the best on your journey of faith, stay strong, he will not forsake you, his timing is perfect Have a blessed day ✝️✝️✝️🙏🏽 I love you❤️❤️❤️

Praying for you ❤ The greatest thing you can do is lay all your worries before the feet of the Lord. He knows what is going to happen and He has promised to work all things together for our good. (Reference Romans 8:28). Don’t forget that you are never alone and that you have omnipotent GOD with you ready to shower you with His love, guidance, peace, wisdom, and deliverance. I have struggled with anxiety myself and I found that the way to peace is to rest in the Lord. To cease striving and to trust in His plan/abilities, not my own. Also, remember that you are never a victim of your circumstances and that when you are weak, you are strong, for you have the Lord Jesus Christ fighting on your behalf. Fight every battle on your knees and you will win every time. Sending love and prayers❤ I know you can do this-because I know you believe in the Lord and through Him, all things are possible. ❤

I hope you're doing better now. I also have gone through periods of feeling depressed. Remember that God made you on purpose, for a purpose. The majority, if not all Christians, struggle with figuring out what God has planned for them. Don't be discouraged, God doesn't give any of us a road map of our lives. But it's out of His loving, awesome character He doesn't tell us what our future will be - because then, we have to rely and put our faith fully in Him. God sees your heart and knows that you want to follow His will. And for that, He will surely guide you. Jesus loves you more than words can describe. You are not a bad person- and anytime that thought comes into your mind, know it is from the enemy and rebuke it. We are not saved by our worthiness, but by God's grace. We have victory through Jesus! Bless you my brother/ sister in Christ ❤✝️

Would you consider making another video about lies the world tells us? I've been praying and struggling with what scripture says on same-sex attraction recently and some support and validation would go such a long way
@ArthurDavidConner9 ай бұрын
Do you think the Bible is against homosexuality?
@heckyeah43149 ай бұрын
@@ArthurDavidConner I believe so, yes. Acting on sexual desire for the same sex is part of the reason the people of Sodom were condemned by God (though rape and attacking guests are also important reasons) and Leviticus says clearly that those acts are not part of God's designs for us. In Paul's letters to the Romans and the Corinthians he states that while the law which Leviticus makes up a part of has been superseded by the death and resurrection of Christ, it's still sinful for Christians to have sex with people of the same sex. I understand that to mean that God truly wants what is best for us. In the context of a fallen world where sexuality has been corrupted, along with everything else, that means saving your sexuality for your opposite-sex spouse (and being faithful, respectful and loving to him or her). That comes closest to reflecting what human sexuality looks like when it's free from sin. Acting on same-sex attraction isn't a uniquely bad sin but God needs us to accept that it is a sin nonetheless. I hope that comes across as clear and respectful! I really believe that arguing and condemning on this topic is harmful and painful for a lot of people.

God doesn't give us instruction to limit our enjoyment of life. He gives us guidance so that we can enjoy it to the fullest without baggage, without shame, without regret, without physical or mental consequences. He created intimacy to be enjoyed in the safety of covanental love. I've watched friends give into the lies of the world out of fear that they'd be alone, that they'd never experience intimacy, that they would be missing out somehow. And it only begets more fear. Fear that they'll leave anyway. Fear that they've ruined themselves forever. Fear that they're carrying disease or that they've become pregnant before they're ready. Now listen, those fears can be overcome by His blood, and forgiveness is always available. But would you choose to swim in manure just because you can take a bath later? Walk on the path he built. Listen to Him. That's how we flourish.

I am 19 and have struggled with lust in past relationships before I came to the Lord and even in my current relationship. From an older sister in the faith, God’s ways are so good. Disobedience only ever leads to hurt. “His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3), they are actually beneficial for us. It’s less so about it being a “bad thing” (which is true, it is sin) and more that God truly does care for us with His commands. He sees your hardship and feels for you in this time! See Hebrews 4:15, Jesus sympathises with us and knows what it’s like to be tempted. Many have gone before you in this temptation and have successfully saved themselves. Keep walking in the light and seek to be like Jesus. Seek to know God, through prayer, reading the Bible, worshipping, and attending church. Even try to find Christian friends who can keep you accountable! I’ll be praying for you. Much love and God bless.

Aristotle best described God: "The Unmoved Mover is perfectly beautiful, indivisible, and contemplating only the perfect contemplation: Contemplating itself." God is perfect alignment, perfect unity, which as humans we experience as effulgent, sublime love, beauty, and exceeding joy. As Nietzsche once wrote, "That which is done out of love, always takes place beyond good and evil." The love of God takes place beyond judgement, it is unconditional. But we are also part of God, indivisible, as is all life. In fact, the fabric of reality, or "life, the universe, and everything" is God. Namely, the singularity of consciousness of God or "God contemplating itself" is what creates everything and causes it to exist. For as the bible states, "God saw the light, and saw that it was good." But God already knew everything about the light, when creating it. What this suggests is that God wants to behold and experience its creations. So it inhabits everything. Therefore every single thing from a human cell to a planet or star, is alive with the _conscious presence of God._ And when you bring your consciousness in alignment with God, or "become closer to God," you feel this connection to all things, or "oneness," and the glory and sacred nature of all life, all things. Everything is connected and one with the glory of God... This is what I experienced as a very young child. Which I suspect was a result of the extreme physical abuse I was receiving. My parents were not particularly religious but my grandmother was, who gave me a picture of Jesus to hang over my bed. One night while I was sleeping, I had a dream that I briefly saw Jesus and was immediately ushered into a light. When I stepped into this beam of light, it was everywhere and it felt like I had been transported to "Heaven." Or a dimension of pure white light. But I immediately recognized that the light itself was more than effulgence or color, it was the presence of God. Within the light I could feel the glorious presence of God which immediately overwhelmed me, which I can only describe as sublime beauty, love, and rapture. I had no thoughts, only the desire to worship and serve the glory of God. I was told without words, "Everything will be okay." I was so overwhelmed by the glory of God that my only desire was to express it further, by sharing it with "others." I then felt myself waking up and that feeling still washed over me for at least an hour, although my abusive parent tried to convince me it was something else (she was into a cult but I won't mention the name since they have a habit of harassing people). Ever since then I never felt lonely and I could always connect with that feeling and experience, to a lesser extent. In fact, many decades later, my grandfather passed away in the night, and suddenly there was something that remained that I can only describe as a malevolent presence. An overwhelming feeling of pure evil. Lights started behaving strangely, and some objects moved (but only with my back turned). So I recalled that feeling I had from God, that light and love, and ushered it into that light. And then the presence disappeared... I feel the nature of God is perfect, so the idea that there is "good vs. evil" doesn't really exist. For God is the glorious living end, so it has already "won." Evil is impermanent and the good is everlasting. Evil only serves to make the good more keenly felt, more appreciated. Such as how starving can create gratitude for food. Good and evil exist simply to provide CONTRAST to life. One of the purposes of contrast is to increase the glory of the good. Such as, transmuting loneliness into belonging, fear into love, war into peace, scarcity into abundance, adversity into success, etc. And through these experiences we contribute and increase the glory of God. I also believe that life is essentially a game, or a dream. It is playful in nature. There's no deep meaning to anything. Some wise philosophers will say that true wisdom is to understand you know nothing. But I believe that there is no single underlying meaning, so it allows for nearly infinite understanding/knowledge. Depending on your perspective and consciousness. Only the mind and ego seeks "purpose" to life. But the spirit has all that it needs... This is easily seen in very young children. For the nature of oneself, one's spirit/being, is one with God, and that is the nature of beauty, love, and joy. What this also means is that we ARE love, we ARE joy. These are not things we need or must possess, nor are they things we can lose or do not have. The only meaning to life then is in expressing the infinite potential of our nature which is indivisible from God. We are given free will so that we may infinitely express beauty, love and joy, which can never be fully expressed. Which is why the glory of God is like infinities within infinities, like the mathematical Mandelbrot Set. Fractal patterns are prevalent in nature for this reason, because God loves NOVELTY. Not just change for the sake of change, but compelling, beautiful forms of change...
