Here in 2020. It’s my second time that I have to quarantine and honestly ASMR videos is what keeps me sane lately. Thank you!

Thanks, it's ancient but I love it......starting to get loose threads everywhere, I'll just have to pretend it's a fringe top!

Just discovered ASMR, but only consciously. I've loved some of the sounds my whole life, but just have come to understand it's use for relaxation. Pretty amazing stuff. For me - this one was annoying until you got to the martini glasses in the heavy cellophane. Then I felt that endorphin rush. Awesome!

Great video! I listen to this several times a week to help me relax. It's great, and I like the binaural effect! :)

that frame skip at 11:30 really had me thinking my vision was doing that from the relaxation lol

i really like the second peice of plastic. something about the lighter/delicate crinkling releases better than the bigger louder crackle of the thicker plastics. i've also noticed crackling fire is pretty nice with a wind background.
@TheASMRAngel10 жыл бұрын
I totally agree, the second one was a very thin used cellophane and made a wonderful sound
@zurobski9 жыл бұрын
Me too. I think I would love to loop that second piece of cellophane over and over. Great video. Thank you.

I really like these videos. To me, they are relaxing and I always get sleepy while watching them (in a good way of course). This is what they are for me, relaxing and sleep-inducing :p I have a question though. I see comments on videos like these that talk about "the elephant in the room" and I never really got it. Is the "elephant" that these people are referring to that some may find these crinkly sounds sexual/do some get off on this?
@TheASMRAngel10 жыл бұрын
I've actually never seen a comment like this but I guess that's what they are talking about

i really want to know if there is any signs of addiction in this, i mean should we be careful not to indulge listening to ASMR??? is it any kind of addiction??? i mean like ppl who like to smell things like glue or gasoline i think there is kind of ppl like certain types of smell like those 2 things i mentioned above. i just want to be sure that there isn't any type of addiction in that
@angiedaddy14088 жыл бұрын
I love soft, and mutual crinkling sounds (like here in your video) but when other people do it, I find it very annoying and disruptive lol
@bellalane98610 жыл бұрын
What exactly is ASMR (what does it stand for? What is it suppose to do?)
@HartlanderOfficial9 жыл бұрын
Bella Lane Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a neologism for a perceptual phenomenon characterized as a distinct, pleasurable tingling sensation in the head, scalp, back, or peripheral regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, or cognitive stimuli. - Google

I have a question about ASMR... is all about the sounds, or is any part of the experience about watching the video?
@TheASMRAngel10 жыл бұрын
It's completely different for each person, some it's sound only, some it's visuals and some it's both, it's a very unique thing
@Tricia-TheLefthandedStitcher10 жыл бұрын
ASMR Angel Thank you! I am experimenting to figure out what works best for me.
@Slateronthemic10 жыл бұрын
Tricia Miller For me it's both. I need to see the movements while I listen. I find if I close my eyes I don't get quite as tingly. :) And I like certain sounds better. Crinkly plastic and sticky sounds seem to give me the best responses.
@Slateronthemic10 жыл бұрын
Nancy Slater Oh, and I've also found speed to be a factor, as weird as that sounds. Slow, deliberate movements are much better for me. If the movement is to quick it just annoys me.
@stroggwars10 жыл бұрын
Nancy Slater not all movements work for all for me i like sewing movements work for me about sounds mouse clicks are great my sister works on her laptop on 3d programs it's 3d max or autocad i like that when she starts to click the mouse
@7thString849 жыл бұрын
Hmm... I think, these sounds don´t work very well, if they are made on purpose over a longer time... To me, it works best, when they are in a more "accidential" context. Even, if that is made on purpose, too. ;)
