The author of "NoEnd House" really needs to learn about pacing. That said, some of the ideas are really cool, like the room full of shadows and the doppelganger.
@MattasticASMR10 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the pacing does get a little tedious, but I liked the overall concept enough to include the story.
@ChuckleStevensonTV Жыл бұрын
I only learned this recently, but apparently No-End House got a TV adaptation through Channel Zero on Sy Fy a few years ago
@matt46639 жыл бұрын
No end house is easily explainable. In batman begins, scarecrow uses a drug that induces the victims worst fear. In room two with the smoke machine, they had a similar drug in the smoke and when the main character inhaled the smoke, they started going crazy on a drug trip while going through other rooms.
@Evelyn_onfire5 жыл бұрын
Matt I saw the word Batman and thought, “Batman was the house the whole time!” and then I read the rest and was very disappointed.
@peachdoesart71755 жыл бұрын
Maybe the author took inspiration? Arkham Asylum came out in 2009 I think and creepypasta started booming around then so it's pretty likely. Although I also got some Stephen king style vibes though.

That no end house one was really good. I like the kind of stories that deal with fear, rather than gore.

Spoilers: Regarding the NoEnd ending: I don't believe the 10 JUST stood for infinity... Here's the impression I got: Room 3 was very prominent. It was recurring in multiples throughout the entire short story, in stage 3, 6 and 9. The debut of room 3 signified erasure; his shadow disappeared...and that terrified him. I believe, while subtle, that was the single most pivotal sign, as it literally described his fate: being erased, entering another dimension irrevocably. In a flash, superimposed shadows were gone, and so were his. 6 was the manifestation of the staff. 9 was the last duplicate of room 3, and it symbolized being exiled. Remember that room 7 mislead him into believing he was free. Bearing in mind that room 3 represented the most prominent, key themes of the story (such as nonexistence, confrontation and punishment) I believe it is implied that the Room 3 (or in other words, every marker) + Room 7 (which was the simulation of reality) yielded the result...room 10, which would either A) have had his friend send the same message to restart the events or B) execute the same sequence that Room 7 did...with his parents maimed in the residence, and continuing on into room 8 then 9 and repeated in that trio for eternity. In either scenario, he resorts to using heroine, just like his friend, as a desperate means of achieving escape.... I do believe there is very strong numerical significance in this, if the creator thought it through and didn't decide to slap on the "Ah, unexplained eternity cliche" last minute. If so, it's more intricate than my 3 + 7 theory ( which are biblical numbers, by the way). After all, my idea is totally oblivious to the numbers which weren't divisible by 3.... Not sure if I would be inclined to hearing the technical explanation honestly

Anyone ever tell you that you sir are a genious?
@coolgeekism8 жыл бұрын
While first trying to rationalize the story, I thought that the fog in room 2 was some kind of hallucinogen. Then, as he advanced, I thought of the fact that the author would not have mentioned heroin for just no good reason. Maybe these aren't really rooms he's going through, but the stages of heroin addiction? Like you said, room 7 made him think he was free. In reality, he may have been going through withdraw. He felt wonderful without the drug until he saw those mutilated parents which would symbolize his crash from withdraw. I mean, the character had opportunities to use heroin, what with his friend being an addict. The fact that the author went out of his way to mention he wasn't an addict made me think even more that he was an addict.
@blackcoffeguzzler8 жыл бұрын
Sarcastic loser Yeah, that's seems very likely. The fact that the trials became perpetual could show that one instance of drug use could result in permanent addiction. This is also a parallel to his friend's rather nondescript complaints of the No End House-- he's a heroine addict; of course that sort of constant turmoil would be commonplace for him
@Ultimatelink_8 жыл бұрын
+sarcastic loser Pretty Sure you're spot on about the heroin. One thing that many heroin addicts share is the sensation of bugs crawling in or on the skin. This was the dead give away for me because he literally said it flat out in room 5. He knew they weren't really there, but he kept scratching anyway. A few other points that lead me to heroin addiction: 1: Always physically tired despite never actually doing anything that strenuous. 2: Constant dread without any specific thing to be afraid of. (room 3) 3. The first 2 rooms aren't even a challenge. But as the 'High' Continues, it becomes self detrimental. I'm not sure if you're right about room 7 though. I'm not certain on this one, but I think It represents not withdraw, but believing that the high is over and you've made it, but only to find that it's not over yet. +Thomas B. Howard I think you were right about the permanent addiction. Actually now that I think about it, I'm Pretty sure that in room 8 or 9, when he has to stab himself, it represents how part of him wants to stop, but he's so afraid of being stuck in this state of panic and despair, that he stabs himself (shoots up) to escape. Then comes the euphoria of a new high. The 500 bucks, the laughing, the happiness of escaping. All up until he gets to door 10, which would be the same thing over and over again, shooting up again, finally escaping again, only to find himself at door 20. I think its a way of showing how a person feels when they're on heroin, and also, more importantly, why most of the time they can't stop. It's actually a brilliant fucking story about heroin addiction without actually being about heroin addiction. The room story alone is okay I guess, but the fact that it's actually a seriously detailed depiction of heroin addiction makes this not a great creepypasta, but just a fantastic read in general. Props to the Author.

I just read Abandonned by Disney. I also read Room 0 (sequel to AbD) and A few suggestions (prequel to AbD). When you read them in the order I did, it becomes very creepy and scary. Usually, most of the creepypastas are told the same way. The most popular ones, like Jeff the Killer, suck ass in my opinion. But the AbD series seemed real and really gave me the chills. It's definitively worth 15 minutes of reading. There are some funny parts in the prequel, to make it seem more real and to make it less stressful. Favorites pastas ever, you should check them out.
