Lovely handwriting, indeed! :) There's something very relaxing about watching (and listening to) other people write. There were times in high school when I'd stop for a couple of minutes in the middle of a test just to listen to the soothing writing sounds around me.

Yes, those soporific late afternoons in the classroom, when everyone is quiet, still digesting lunch, and the room becomes very, very quiet.... All except the dulcet scribblings of someone hard at work. Those are genuinely golden moments! Thanks for sharing your experience and reminding me of my own. It's so nice to see you around here xx

Whoa I love the writing parts I'm in love with your penmanship and the sounds are so soothing
@quintessenceSL7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just because it is something I've been noticing a lot more... Either Helen is of a certain generation or they still teach penmanship in jolly old England. That is dying here. Neat device BTW.

Thanks so much. I have a playlist on here of videos I've made with writing sounds. Also, video 35 is of ballpoint pen on a hard surface: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4ikfnuEpploobs

+quintessenceSL hehe, I would love to know what generation that might be :) I actually don't know if they still teach cursive handwriting in schools.
@ahtaimo7 жыл бұрын
Alas... I was really upset to discover that we don't teach Cursive in Ontario, Canada any more. Apparently a sort of childish scrawl is adequate. In fact I recently taught a nephew enough cursive to be able to create his own signature. He was embarrassed that he couldn't actually sign his name! I agree... however... you do have a lovely hand.
@SOUNDsculptures7 жыл бұрын
+ahtaimo Isn't that a shame 😔 I wonder if there will ever be a reversal. Probably not though, seeing as kids seem to be taught computer typing before they can learn to write. Nice that you were able to teach your nephew 👍🙂

Yes, and they are super useful. I reckon I've saved pads and pads of paper since I got this some years back. It's brilliant for things like a daily 'to-do' list, which is probably 90% what I use it for. It's very nice to be able to wipe it all off at the end of the day. And no wifi - so it's incredibly encrypted ;)

I remember subscribing after watching your vids on my iPhone 4 when I first discovered what ASMR was. That was about 6-7 years ago? Your ASMR content and channel is by far the best on KZbin, these vids are what I use as a means to sleep.

The sounds of stylus on the Boogie Board screen reminds me of grade school and my earliest experiences of ASMR. It's a really nice sound and you have a very satisfying writing style. I like the fact that the line is thick rather than spidery. The pressure makes the sound perfect. And, as always, you take pains to record the video beautifully. Big ASMR thumbs up. WD
