Hey sweethearts! I hope you like the video. I’ll film a new tour once I get more books and put new shelves up. Please let me know if you have any requests for the next book shelf tour, I may film it in a different way where I’m actually holding the camera and showing you everything :) Thank you for watching!! I’m reading false witness by Karin slaughter it’s a mystery novel Leigh Collier has worked hard to build what looks like a normal life. She’s an up-and-coming defense attorney at a prestigious law firm in Atlanta, would do anything for her sixteen-year-old daughter Maddy, and is managing to successfully coparent through a pandemic after an amicable separation from her husband Walter. But Leigh’s ordinary life masks a childhood no one should have to endure … a childhood tarnished by secrets, broken by betrayal, and ultimately destroyed by a brutal act of violence. On a Sunday night at her daughter’s school play, she gets a call from one of the firm's partners who wants Leigh to come on board to defend a wealthy man accused of multiple counts of rape. Though wary of the case, it becomes apparent she doesn't have much choice if she wants to keep her job. They're scheduled to go to trial in one week. When she meets the accused face-to-face, she realizes that it’s no coincidence that he’s specifically asked for her to represent him. She knows him. And he knows her. More to the point, he may know what happened over twenty years ago, and why Leigh has spent two decades avoiding her past. It’s very intriguing ! I highly recommend it Madi ❤️🙏

I use a blow dryer, aimed at the sticker.. the warm air helps to loosen the goo and the gently peel them away.. works almost every time for me. If there is any reaidue left, you can use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and gently rub it away. I hope you're able to get the sticker off!

I love your bookish ASMR videos. I'm really into books myself and I love seeing how passionate you are about reading and the books you love. I'd love to see more bookish content from you if you'd like to do it. Maybe you could do a book tag soon? There's a bunch of different ones to choose from. But I think that could make a really nice video if you're up for it. 🙂

Interesting and wide collection of books Madi, I liked it 👍🏻. Judging by the types of books you like reading, I would recommend you check out The Red Wing Saga by Sharon K. Gilbert, all six books. I think they're the type of subject matter you would enjoy reading. Just a suggestion. As for me, I just finished reading Gods and Heroes Of Ancient Greece by Gustav Schwab, which explains the origins of the Greek gods and heroes and events like Troy and the Odyssey, cool things if you like mythology and such. I got another book that I haven't start reading yet but I will soon, Zeitgeist 2025 by Thomas Horn.

If you like Jennifer Armentrout and prefer new adult books I highly recommend the Titan series by her. The first book is The Return. She does have a prequel series before the Titan series, which is also very good but it’s ya, but you don’t have to read the prequel first. The Titan series is a complete and it’s 4 books. Highly recommend

Heat and steam to get stickers off. Of course you have to be careful not to damage the jacket. You can use a razor blade very carefully to see if you can work on the sticker without affecting the cover. I'd try a hair drier focused on the sticker first. Careful, you can easily burn out a hair drier by restricting the flow. Don't ask how I know.

Finally, someone that's actually entertained and into the books they're talking about! There's so much people that just talk about the book they read so weird and studiously; not that that's bad or anything, I just don't see it like that! If I'm reading a book, let's say, by Obama! My first thing I say is, "Ooooo, this looks interesting! What's this?" Then later I'm talking about it---- not even realizing I learned something new, or I'm even talking about politics or obama's life! And again, that's just because I see books as (and call me a cheese ball) "an adventure," "somewhere to go," "I fun story," "a book with a character I love to imitate!" Like, I say as a joke all the time to friends, "speak up, you ingrate!" And none of them know what I'm talking about, except just think I'm nuts! Or when I joke about calling my room "the east gable," talking about decorating my room with white roses and drown myself in a river; and, man, would that be so romantic! Again, my friends and family just think I'm being a weirdo, instead, I'm imitating a character from a book! And last one I imitate ALLLLL the time is me calling myself Anthony, and moving to a haunted camp ground, "the nest," and start having nightmares of my none existent pregnant daughter getting killed in a swampy green pond with a green glow! XD Hey, maybe this stuff could happen! XD

This is cool. Sadly I had to give up feeding physical books well over a decade ago. It's too bad I had a nice collection of books now they're all packed away. However, it doesn't mean I can't enjoy a nice audio story here and there :-). You keep up that reading whether you're actually reading a book or listening to a story it can take you to another world another place and it's very enjoyable :-)

Hello there and thanks for this great video. I usually watch your videos to get those heavenly tingles and slowly fall asleep. But this one was something else. I was wide awake, listening carefully and taking notes. I'm 27 and a book addict however this genre (new adult fantasy romance) is somehow new to me. I rarely read fantasy books. Tolkien aside, I remember reading Emily Rodda's (Jennifer Rowe) Deltora series and I used to love them as a kid. The characters, the adventures, The mild Romance. But that was some 10 15 years ago. My recent read was The Testaments by Atwood but now I am trying your all-time favorite: Acotar. I have baught the original trilogy and I have read 11 chapters of the first book. Maas is growing on me (some pun intended). So far so captivating. I'm planning to go for her Crescent series too after finishing Acowar. I'm still not sure about Acofas and Acosf. It depends on the original trilogy. I've also heard much about Kerri Maniscalco in book communities. If Maas can convince me, I will probably go for her sjtr series first and then her kotw series as well. My readings includes (with some examples): - Philosophical books (Jostein Gaarder, Friedrich Nietzsche, Gibran Khalil Gibran) - Psychological books (Carl Jung, Irvin D. Yalom, Xavier Crement) - Magical Realism books (Gabriel García Márquez, Haruki Miakami, Mario Vargas Llosa) - Dystopian books (George Orwell, Yevgeny Zamyatin, Margaret Atwood, Aldous Huxley) - Spiritual books (Paulo Coelho, Mitch Albom, Matt Haig) - Plays (Henrik Ibsen, Samuel Beckett, William Shakespeare) - Russian Classics (Leo Tolstoy, Mikhail Bulgakov, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Anton Chekhov, Nikolai Gogol) - English and American Classics (Charles Dickens, JD Salinger, Ernest Hemingway, F Scott Fitzgerald) - Persian Literature (Sadeq Hedayat, Houshang Golshiri, Mahmoud Dowlatabadi, Abbas Maroufi) - Classic Persian Literature (Ferdowsi, Rumi, Saadi, Omar Khayyam)
