The lost apothecary was alright. Parts of it were good and parts of it were bad. I went to a convention where the author spoke and the author gave off a really bad impression compared to the other speakers.

It felt rushed a bit to me, and it was her debut novel so I hate to be so harsh, but I really had higher expectations for it since I do love historical fiction so much
