Horror book ASMR is something we need more of!

This is so nostalgic not to mention relaxing. I worked at a B. Dalton Bookseller back in the early 90s and this brings it all back. I remember a lot of customers complaining at the time that we shelved Anne Rice in the horror section. LOL. They're reasoning was that just because her characters tended to be vampires doesn't necessarily mean she's a horror writer.

You have such a vibe that’s uniquely you and I find that to be one of my favorite things about an ASMRtist. Very happy to find this diamond in the rough!

I'm always happy to see a new video from you, Veda. Regarding the horror genre, I've never really given it a chance. Perhaps I should try it. I enjoyed watching an adaptation of "The Stand" on Paramount+, although it was kind of weird timing with the COVID-19 pandemic and the fictional Captain Tripp pandemic. Either the horror genre is broader than I realize, or the "The Stand" is not precisely horror, at least to me it seems a bit more action/adventure or fantasy.
@VedaASMR2 жыл бұрын
I totally get what you’re saying! The Stand isn’t exactly horror in my opinion either. I looked it up and most sources call it a “post-apocalyptic dark fantasy.”

Fun video! Nostalgic for me, as I went through a big King phase as a teen and also read Stoker's Dracula then as well!

Some of them I've read & some I might look into. I think this is a great change of pace and fun to be in the bookstore after what's happened these past few years. Please do more.

Salem’s Lot is my favorite King book mostly because of vampires and my hometown having Salem in it. So I always like to fantasize about my town having vampires in it. Also Firestarter is pretty cool because well I was a pyromaniac in my youth. Good lord I really am odd.

Salem’s Lott is actually supposed to be getting a new film adaptation this year produced by James Wan who made the Saw , the Conjuring & Insidious franchises so I’m assuming it’ll be good😃
