This is great. I think it's more important than ever to convey the amazing history of China and it's traditions. Personally, I love chinese calligraphy, so anything you can do around writing would be awesome!

@@cwilson7458 Thank you for proving my point so succinctly. No - China has a history that goes back millennia. The communist party in modern china is celebrating it's 100th anniversary. The tea ceremony in this video goes back 1300 years. China and its traditions will be around long after the CCP is dead and buried. China is a lot more than just the CCP. Also - Congratulations on invoking Godwin's law after one post.

I agree! As a non-asian admirer of Chinese culture, anti-chinese hatred breaks my heart. And it's rooted in ignorance. I wish Chinese culture was as respected in the west as Japanese culture.

It’s interesting because one of my first ASMR experiences I remember was watching Karate Kid 2 when I was younger (like 6 or 7) and Daniel’s love interest (who was absolutely beautiful btw) performed a similar traditional tea ceremony with him and her gentle, fluid and graceful movements and the soft sounds were so soothing and tingly. I love this video so much, it’s like the same experience only longer and with better sound quality. Thank you for such a wonderful video, your dress is gorgeous as well ♥️

I remember that same scene. Before ASMR was a thing I would watch that scene over and again ver again.

Your first tea ceremony video is my favorite video of yours and helps me fall asleep so fast. I wanted to watch what you did in this one so I stayed awake! Hehe but I would LOVE to see more tea ceremony content!!! 😍 I like the slow pace and careful movements of it.

The first time I saw any sort of tea ceremony...in high school drama class, an Asian friend knelt down and demonstrated her mime piece. With lovely grace, elegance and charm, May made us BELIEVE that she had an old fashioned Chinese tea service in front of her. We watched, jaws dropped, hardly breathing, as she created the magic of a tea ceremony, WITH NOTHING! Finally, she knelt, sipping from the delicate "cup" she held in her hands. It was a dance, a ballet, a ritual of magic. We all knew that whatever we did, she had completely out performed ANY mime artist we had ever seen or heard of. Quietly, on her knees, in drama class. She admitted that learning the correct way to do the tea ceremony was something that had been drilled into her as a child, because nice Asian girls HAD to do it properly, as if it were a ballet performance. She could do it in her sleep almost.

Thanks a ton for making another tea video. Maybe for another video you could do Chaozhou style brewing, there's also bowl brewing and boiled tea. As for other Chinese cultural topics, maybe something involving music, drawing, calligraphy, or games? I don't know enough to have specific ideas but I love learning about other cultures and my love of tea makes me endlessly curious about China.
