The Super Bowl is pretty cringe. Most people don’t watch for the game. It’s a holiday basically; an excuse for a party. You’re right, American football players are big anyway, and when they stop playing and/or coach they tend to get fat. A lot of people say the best half time show was Prince years ago. Lots of Americans can’t stand the Super Bowl. One last thing a lot of people don’t know. There are vastly fewer murders in the USA than 20, 30, 40 years ago. Less than half the murders per capita. What’s different and relatively new are these mass shootings that get huge publicity around the world. So it’s a case of warped perception not reflecting reality. Having said that…I’d be happy to see guns banned😊

As an avid NFL fan, I didn’t even want the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Add in the whole Taylor Swift thing and you can bet I had a bad time watching the Super Bowl haha.
