My first ASMR video was Virtual Barber Shop, which was before ASMR got its name (Uploaded 15 years ago). Hearing that video for the first time was quite the experience and revolutionary for its time. I ended up finding ASMR again later in life to help me fall asleep My ears use to be in tune to ASMR so I understand the sensations and shivers, but lately, I've been cursed by tingle immunity. As a result, it has been difficult to find good quality ASMR. However, I would say your ASMR has excellent quality and would rate it top tier. Keep it up!

omg the new jacket looks so comfy i love it! and i missed you so much! i just read your description and regarding the doing figure skating thing less i relate, my whole life ive been super into photography but i went through a phase where i wasn’t really doing it, then when i left college i was having a hard time figuring out what to do as a job, i’m now doing an apprenticeship at a pharmacy, on my first day i cried when i got home because it was overwhelming and there’s just overall so much pressure as to what you want to do with your life, i’ve been there for 3 weeks now and i’m okay, still not 100% sure what i want to do but at least i have something and they say i’m good at it. sorry for the ramble, the moral of this all is that i know it sucks going through these phases but it will be okay, i’m always here for you

Hi Astra! What got me into ASMR was a friend of mine actually, he randomly posted an ASMR video while we were on discord in a small group of friends and they were like mocking and joking about it and I eventually went back to it in the evening and really enjoyed it. That's pretty much what got me into it haha. Concerning the Hobbit/Lotr books: THEY ARE SO GOOD. And you're lucky you get to imagine it all without having seen the movies yet. I'd recommend watching them after you've finished the books, they're one of the best movies ever, imo of course! Aaand I love your ramble-y videos! Bye!

I actually found asmr a few years on a reaction channel when asmr blew up for being weird- they were reacting to ASMR darling and as they were kinda cringing I was really enjoying it so I immediately looked up her channel and become obsessed! As for your feelings about not fulfilling your potential, I went through the same thing; what's been working for me is doing my absolute best to make my dreams come true and being very, very patient with my failures. Find different ways to integrate your passions into your busy day-to-day, no matter how small or insignificant it seems. In that regard, teaching figure skating sounds like a fantastic idea. I hope you feel better soon!

The Collector is terrific, I found the middle section so unexpectedly affecting and cruel (stuff on art and affectation sort of makes the abduction plot seem insignificant in comparison). Pale Fire is perfectly readable, it just becomes a book after not long.
