That was an interesting video thank you! I think it would be interesting to try this, the ear massage, gua sha and vibrating ear brush looked like it felt nice and tickly. I’ve always been taught not to put things in ears though as it can damage and compress the wax and cause further problems. We’re often advised to use medical grade purified olive oil drops in the UK and to add drops into our ears using cotton wool to fashion a bung to stop the oil from leaking, eventually repeating after a week the wax loosens and comes out naturally - there are also rubber bulb syringes you can fill with warm water to gently douche the softened wax out. I’ve done this a couple of times when I’ve had a lot of wax and it does work however I’m not sure it’s really good for you - I always feel a bit funny afterward. I think probably just the oil is enough and the wax will naturally come out when ready. The ear is evolved to remove wax and bits naturally. This was an interesting video though, thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for kindly letting me know about treatments in other countries. Through your explanation, I came to understand another culture. it's fun. In Korea, a lot of people clean their ears. However, ear cleaning is not developed or uses various tools like in China.

Asians tend to get dry earwax (looks like tiny, thin, flaky bits of pie crust, doesn’t cling to the ear canal). The oil method most likely doesn’t work with most Asians. 😢

As a doctor, I will tell you that removing earwax is way safer then you think, it's better then using qtip because with qtip you push those earwax back to the ear drum which can cause to clogging of ear canal,but you also have to be very careful when removing earwax with those tools, because yo can also damage the ear drum if you go in too deep, I would recommend to clean your ear with those tools once a week after you take a shower or bath, because after a bath the ear wax are soft and its easier to tale ot out, but never with a qtip.
