Hey guys 💕 I should’ve pinned this here for the hygiene concerns: all the products used here are mine. The base, foundation, concealer, highlighter, she even ended up using my mascara and lipgloss too. I did mention in the description box that I decided to bring my own things because I knew a typical Chinese MUA won’t have my shades or similar so I didn’t mind bringing them- I just wanted to experience her technique and just see how different muas do makeup in China and ofcourse in ASMR style. Thank you for letting us know that you brought with you the products used because I was certainly wondering how the makeup artist had your shade in a country where Japanese women have much lighter skin. I thought that maybe she specialized in doing make-up for women of color. Similarly I traveled to Buenos Aires where in 2 weeks I saw less than 10 Black people and wondered, if I stayed here, where would I get my hair done?

She did great, eyebrows were not overly arched which makes us look older, foundation didn't look caked on which is common with western makeup artist, and the lipstick actually looked gorgeous. The lipstick was like a matte burnt orange which complemented your look and matched your orange shirt, so I was surprised that you didn't like it ha. Thank you for sharing!

This look is STUNNING!! The MUA has such a delicate touch and used light strokes but produced a masterpiece. I loved that dark warm orange lipstick that you didn’t like ha ha as felt it really complimented your skin tone and tied in nicely with the orange top you were wearing. I had my make up done by a professional MUA for a corporate video shoot. I was delighted with it except for the lipstick. However, when I walked out into the sunshine, it looked fabulous! As it was in London, I walked straight round to Selfridges to buy it after the shoot was finished. That’s what makes a brilliant MUA.
