Oil doesn’t equal moisture... in fact, if you have oily skin it’s because your skin is dry. Try a oil free moisturizer! Worked for me ☺️

when you have a muscle spasm, its your best friend. easy to self administer, you can control the level of pressure. I do it every morning to my legs. by uncramping them, I can avoid back pain later in the day if I have lots to do that requires standing.

I personally think that they sound/look super relaxing and peaceful. They are very organized and gentle, I find that so soothing .

It's a stereotype. Your mom's likely referring to conversations, behaviors she's seen in public, etc. She might even just feel the Chinese linguistic inflections are 'hostile', like how French is stereotyped as romantic and German is stereotyped as angry and London English is stereotyped as smart. Don't be surprised if she still hears anger in Ting Ting- she's likely responding to preconceived prejudices in the accent and not Ting Ting herself. If that is the case but you're lucky your mom might acknowledge how gentle she is while sounding harsh; being able to recognize and separate assumptions from behaviors is a maturity trait not everyone has.
