Hi August, I just want to say I really like your videos and the type of ASMR you do. It's very difficult for me to find ASMR videos that work for me as I hate most typical triggers, so finding your channel and having another ASMRtist to add to my favorites was great. I think your ideas are very unique and creative too. But when it comes to videos dealing with health issues, I'd like to suggest you do more research on them first as a TMJ video with rain is not something conducive to helping those of us who suffer from it relax and sleep. TMJ is exacerbated by rain and damp conditions. For instance I have been in a lot of pain due to it having been raining all week. When I came across your video, I thought this is the perfect thing to help me relax and maybe get some pain relief (as the way ASMR works for me is imagining I am the person and I guess kind of living vicariously through them, for lack of a better way of explaining). But when I saw rain, I knew I wouldn't be able to watch it as the sound of the rain would just make me think of the actual rain and make me feel like I was in more pain. I know that's psychosomatic, but I'm going to assume I'm not the only one for whom ASMR works that way. Or maybe I am, lol. I don't know. But TMJ sufferers are not likely to want a video with rain, regardless. There may be some people with TMJ who are not bothered by the rain, but many are. It is a joint issue after all, and dampness aggravates joint pain. I'm sure you've heard older people who have arthritis say their joints are telling them it's going to rain. It's the same for TMJ patients in many cases. If you ever do another TMJ video without the rain, I'll be happy to watch. If you do consider it, could I also suggest one without gloves? I'm sure some people like the gloves, so of course you'll keep doing videos with gloves for them. But I have seen a lot of people on many ASMR videos on KZbin saying they dislike gloves. It's also not realistic to TMJ treatment. You get adjustments by either a dentist or a chiropractor, and sometimes massage. Chiropractors don't wear gloves and neither do massage therapists, and dentists only wear gloves when they're putting their hands directly in your mouth and this is not necessary for TMJ adjustments. They do it with a tool. I hope this didn't sound rude. Like I said, I really like your channel! I think you and Lucy do a great job. I just thought this would be valuable information to impart for future reference. Tokyo ASMR Massage has a TMJ video you might want to check out and there are a lot of videos about TMJ here on KZbin as well. A quick google search should yield results of articles that explain exactly what TMJ is and what some treatments are. Not trying to convince you to make another video, lol. Obviously, it's your channel, and you should create the videos you want to make. I just thought in case you ever do decide to try this again, those references would be helpful. Thank you for your videos and for your hard work, I really do appreciate them. ❤❤ P.S. while I haven't tried them myself yet, a lot of people have had very good results with TMJ using gua sha tools and jade rollers. Not too many ASMR videos on KZbin use gua sha, even for facials and beauty purposes. I only know of one that uses it often and another that did it just once, and the second channel is actually focused more on an entirely different type of ASMR. Just a thought for something you might want to think about putting in a video in general, for any type of video, as it's not that common, so it might get you a lot of views and new subscribers. I apologize for going on for so long and leaving you a novel to read. 😂 I'm sure you're busy, so thanks for taking the time to read this comment, if you have.
