A 1964 Ladybird book? What a beautiful find. Those traditional paintings used for the covers are a thing of beauty. I wish more modern books would start doing so as well.I have hope your Christmas brought you and your loved ones much joy and holiday cheer Kate. 😊

I remember similar books/story cards in school in the US as a girl. Having said that-much of this Ladybird book information I didn’t learn in school as a girl but long after as a young adult! I didn’t grow up with much religious education so perhaps that’s where my knowledge lacked. Keep reading these Kate! I am an historian and greatly enjoy learning how other countries impart their history to their children. Happy Christmas and blessed New Year!!
