1) have you removed static electricity at the end? while peeling it off, you charged the disc. Dust will be attracted immediately. 2) have you checked the peeled glue with a microscope? how much dust was removed? that would be interesting.

You could not play a glue record because the needle fits into the groves of the vinyl and casting it reverse that so saying you could play it is nonsense

DutchMountains ASMR it wouldn’t matter if you played it backwards because the groves are no longer indents \/ like that but /\ reverses because the glue is a cast, so I very much doubt that it would work. Also we saw how warped and lose the glue is that would catch and and ruin your stylus

Oh god don’t ever do this. There are so many other ways to do it that are way more tried and true. As someone who has been collecting records for several years and has a substantial collection. The wood glue is just way too risky. The likelihood of getting glue stuck in the grooves of the record and it not coming out is extremely high. You can clean records with literal soap and water, or cleaning solution and a velvet brush, or even a microfiber cloth. Especially for a record that already looks as clean as this one, it’s completely unnecessary. It’s also insanely time-consuming as opposed to the methods I described.
