Your feelings about the rush to Christmas feel very similar to mine. I’m about double your age and in the ‘60’s, ‘70’s, and ‘80’s Halloween was for kids, Thanksgiving was anchored in family gatherings and real gratitude. Christmas decorating and merchandising were mostly held until after Thanksgiving. Each of the four seasons was given its due. IMHO Fall and Thanksgiving have morphed into an elaborate prelude to Christmas merchandising and shopping. The profit motive rules supreme.

Christmas is the easiest holdiay to market, so stores jump on it unfortunately. Im fine if individuals want to celebrate holidays early or late. I just choose to give each holoday it's season. Its easy to get frustrated, but just act within your realm of control and it gets better. 😊

I think the main problem with the new lis is the constant repetition of the same plot of the first game, but with slightly changed characters. The same Safi is almost a complete copy of Chloe. And the ending generally kills with its hints about the future of the entire series, I don't want to go into spoilers, but this is obviously the most controversial part of the series. I liked how Dontnod was constantly inventing something new, whether it was an original game, a little story about childhood fantasies, a road movie about brothers, but at the same time it felt more like lis than the latest from Deck Nine (sorry for my English, I'm still learning it)
