I was doing this exact page with my wife last night, as she was working on a totally different one... but like you, I wanted to get creative and make the glare from the TV pop on them like it was "scary movie night" or something... I went for more of a glow coming off the television and wanted to emulate it lighting up their faces, and I ended up giving them all facials (should've added cucumber slices over their eyes), thus, totally ruining the entire scene. I had done exceptional and that was gonna be my finale to really wow my wife... boy, did we laugh at what a turnout it was.
