That's NOT normal earth-human genes!!.. :P On a more serious note: So cool to see that awkward, funny kid with her sweet little x-men ASMR vids, shot in front of her chest of drawers at - I believe- her parent's house, having become one of the founders of ASMR AND an actual YT celebrity. To me, she's right up there with Gentlewhispering, Heather Feather (who left YT, sadly), Gibi, Glow and more of those early 'whisper video' makers that started the whole ASMR-thing on YT.

First off. ASMR is just a weird thing to experience. Why do certain soft voices make you feel incredible. But then also why does things like hand movements and holding things up to your face also produce the feeling? Obviously everyone has different triggers but they’re mostly all fairly common amongst us. What gets me is before finding ASMR videos and knowing that I wasn’t alone I never told a soul about it until one day I tried explaining it to my gf. I told her about the things that would cause me to get the “feeling” (had no other word for it) and I said certain soft voices particularly if they had some wet sounds when they spoke, then if someone was doing something intricate and delicate with their hands or holding something up to my face. Our friend Jessie would play board games with us and she had a soft voice that for me was a trigger and when she was moving the pieces around the board but also stopped and thought about her moves I’d get it. I’d say “that’s it there! Just happened when you do that!” Not long after I started to use google to find out if anyone else ever had this thing. Found out it was huge and I could watch videos now to experience it whenever I wanted!
