Great haul and video. I am only saying this for the benefit of your cat: Please reconsider using those scented Glade plug ins. In your vlog you said you have two plugged in and you can smell it in the hallway so it must be very strong - one is bad enough. Your lovely cat is trapped in the apartment inhaling those chemicals and can’t escape outside to get fresh air or any respite. She’s so small and is inhaling those chemicals 24/7. The chef/author Ina Garten has a good trick that’s more natural: get a big glass vase (like the one you have with the pumpkins), fill it up with a few inches of cloves (you could also add cinnamon sticks), and then put an unscented candle on top of them. You should get a mild, natural clove smell which is much better for you and your cat.

Hi Sam, you may want to check with your vet if Glade plug ins are safe for cats. They're not recommended for cat owners here in the UK, the chemicals may be harmful if ingested.

It’s also not good to inhale those chemicals, even more so if you don’t have the windows open for ventilation. You’re sealed in inhaling those chemicals with no fresh air. Not good for humans or a cat’s lungs. Cats also have a better sense of smell than us so it could be quite unbearable being inside with plug-ins. I used to like scented candles but have stopped using them for the same reason.

They’re not :( especially the super strong ones. Cats don’t have the enzymes to break down the fragrance- I have a couple but ONLY in well ventilated areas :(

Wonder if this is cat allergen specific. My cat is 13, I adopted her at 14 weeks and I have always used plugins. She has had a clean bill of health every year at her vet visit and zero health problems. Worth to check in to, but May not be typical for all cats.

I'm loving the headband look Sam. It really suits you. You have such great style in everything, from your clothing to how you decorate for the different seasons. The summer here in the UK sucked, I think we had maybe a week of continuous sunshine, other than that it was good one day and then cloudy or wet the next. Just be careful with plug-ins as they can be toxic for cats! I think the floral type scents are worse because flowers are toxic to cats as are most floral essential oils etc etc. But just something to keep in mind!

Don’t want to come off annoying - but Glade Plugins are really bad for you and your fur baby :/ they’re hormone disrupters and could make your allergies really bad - also give really bad headaches! There are better alternatives like incense or soy candles ❤
