Genuine question for people who like to do these sorts of scalp inspections on others: What's in it for you? I'm someone who LOVES to be on the receiving end, but I don't really get much from performing a scalp check on someone else. So I'm curious as to what the appeal is, so that I can learn about others' experiences. :)

The sounds, the motions, the feel of the hair, the playing with the hair,,,, it is all part of the experience. I love being on the receiving end. But I also love doing the scalp work also and knowing how relaxing it is to them is also part of the joy.
