ASMR Crocheting a Blanket (Whispered)

Simply crocheting a baby blanket while whispering.
The yarn I'm using is Bernat Baby Sport in the colorway Funny Prints.

Not only is the audio relaxing, but the slow repetitive crocheting is easy enough for a beginner crocheter to follow along! Now I'm inspired to try this shell stitch. 🙂😊

I really like your technique because people are always like "hold the yarn this way" when it really is a personal feel, and I am self taught and basically do exactly what you do because it was most comfortable to me, although I put the yarn between my middle and ring finger and not the first and middle like you

Crocheting is always a personal feel! I hate when people say: do this or do that. There’s certain techniques I had to modify for myself because the feel didn’t work for me. Your stitches look AMAZING.

You crochet similar to how I did, except I used to hold the hook and wrap the yarn with my right hand. That how I’ve always done it (for like 9 years) until I forced myself to start using conventional tension methods.

Instead of yarning over the hook with your left hand, try using the hook to grab the yarn.

Hi! When I shot this video I actually didn’t have a microphone, so I just used my phone and the voice memo app that was already on it. Afterwards, I reduced background noise on my computer using Audacity. Let me know if you have any other questions!
