I just want to say your ASMR videos help me sleep every night. I use to have really bad anxiety attacks that lead to panic attacks but your ASMR always helps to calm me before it gets that bad. I have some videos that are "daytime asmr" that wont put me to sleep. Before ASMR was popularized I used to put sounds of rain and ocean waves for studying/drawing because it wasnt a distracting sound

I think it's the pursuit of quality. She keeps getting better mics over the years (even rented out a really expensive one for a video but I forget what the title was) and I have noticed there isnt as much distracting background noises as other ASMRtists. I agree, her content really stands out ;D

Though it is French in origin, it is quite commonly used in English but then English was described by Gyles Brandreth as a 'mongrel tongue'... in other words it has borrowed other words and phrases, more than any other country. Anyway tour de force has a few meanings. 1 - a major challenge that is undertaken as a test, or 2 - a difficult task that is accomplished using great skill. I meant it in the 2nd sense. Though it was also a play on 'magical mystery tour' by the Beatles... Though that was probably obvious. It's funny how Magic hasn't been around that long... yet in terms of old school ASMR she's definitely in a league of her own in my view. The best new old school? One could call magic 'pure ASMR' but then again the term ASMR was used as I recall because 'eargasm' was deemed inappropriate. Of course there's the more overtly sexual content makers, who do mouth sounds and role plays... of course that has it's place but it's not for relaxation at all. Magic hasn't been swept up in that and is the only one I'm aware of who hasn't. Don't get me wrong I'm not a prude and whispering can be sexual but I once read it is the language of love. Generally the latter applies. Anyway soz to go off on a tangent a bit. Obviously this isn't a whispering video and I know that Magic is especially fond of brushing videos. I wouldn't say it's my favourite trigger but it's certainly the most relaxing for me and magic is unbelievably good at it and the time and attention to detail she gives is 2nd to none . :-)

I work at a 24/7 place sometimes I work 10pm to 8am and then come back the same day and work 2pm to 10pm and then go home try and sleep and work another random shift like that so my sleeping schedule is over the place... I went to a Durga Pandal and we were given Mishri and a candy on our way out. I didn't want the candy as I don't like sweets that much. It was crowded and there was a person for managing the flow of people. I handed out the candy towards him and stared wordlessly; he took it after a few seconds and smiled brightly and said "thank you" in a cheerful tone. I felt happy because he actually accepted the candy and he smiled because he definitely looked a bit too overworked. Seeing a hardworking person smile is really a nice feeling. I just wanted to share that I felt happy because I could make him smile for a few seconds. I'm socially a very awkward person so I couldn't even say "please take it", I just offered with my intense staring. I'm glad he understood or I'd have been repenting over this for many years...
