Cheese sauce is homemade. I can't give you proper measurements, since I do 99% of my cooking by feeling. But I made a light bechamel sauce, meaning it should have more of a thin consistency. Then add your cheese of choice. Mine was cheddar and emmental. Make sure not to boil the sauce after adding the cheese. It will loose the stringy consistency. If ur unhappy with the color you can always add the smallest pinch of turmeric to make it look more yellow. But I mean the SMALLEST pinch. 😉

This looks incredibly delicious! The cheese sauce looks similar to the one my mom used to make for nachos as well. It was bechamel based. How do you make yours?

I made mine the same way. A light bechamel with butter, flour and full fat milk. Stir thoroughly so it's really smooth and then melt in the cheese of choice. I went with cheddar and emmental since that was what I had in the fridge. As a side note: make sure not to boil the sauce after adding the cheese. It looses its stringy consistency. Hope that helps

Your nachos look delicious. I commend you for eating around the edges before getting to the center. The edges seem to have the least amount of toppings so I always go for the center first.
