Lion king is probably my favourite Disney movie even though IT breaks my heart everytime! I remember when i was little, before i learned how to read, i memorised where it said 'play movie' from when my mom put it on for me so that i could watch every morning without having to wake her up. I also went to see hans zimmer in May and he played some tunes from the movie and i was in tears through it all!

I can slightly remember going to blockbuster and buying VHS tapes. Up until a few years ago we still had a VCR and my favorite movie we had on VHS was The Crow with Brandon Lee. I can also remember having the Disney show Gargoyles as well as some episodes of Dragon Ball Z on VHS.

Growing up, Lilo and Stitch came out and that was the animated movie that really was the #1 most watched in my childhood. It was also one of the first movies we got on DVD. Sword in the Stone, man. I know this sounds weird, but I recently went to cedar point and got really sun burned, and I also haven't felt asmr in quiet some time, but I still watch them regularly for relaxation, but the combo of putting aloe on sensitive, sun burned skin or even lightly touching it and these videos immediately brought asmr back for me, plus a nice movie nostalgia trip, just wanted to say thanks Matty!

My Ranking: -The Lion King -The Jungle Book -Aladdin -Peter Pan -Sword in the Stone -Beauty and the Beast -The Little Mermaid -Pocahontas -Cinderella -A Goofy Movie Reasons: -Lion King is a massive film that lands right before the rise of PIXAR, it was the last massive 2D animated film before the rise of PIXAR in my opinion. -When we talk about classic disney films, The Jungle Book is one of the films that holds up really well even today, a really fun and exciting film. -Aladdin is fun and thrilling in a very similar way to jungle book, the plot is on a much bigger scale but it doesnt give me those chills. -Peter Pan is one of those films as a young child you just really put yourself in. everyone wanted to either be peter pan or be on his side. Although objectively i'd say it isnt as entertaining as the top 3 -Sword in the Stone is one of the first disney films that really captivated an audience, its a great recreation of the classic story , similar to peter pan in the way it really draws you in Everything below that i never really got to watch more than once or twice, so i just put them in order of films i found most entertaining.
