I love ASMR. I enjoy watching it every night to go to sleep. There are some nights when a video will give me tingles and then in a completely different day the same video won't. I tend to watch a wide variety of ASMR content, and I think the variety helps me to continue getting some tingles from the videos that I watch (Like how on some days no talking asmr is the best, and on other days whispering is my favorite)

What I’m getting is that ASMRs work with some people and don’t with others is that we all are wired differently. A lot of people feel and like things similarly sure, but we all have some unique tastes in activities, food, entertainment, etc. So I think they’re on to something when she made an ASMR video exclusively for Mazz. Maybe most ASMR videos don’t work with me is because I’m not really fond of most of those sounds; they’re not pleasant hearing for me. And the only one that worked for me, the Pikachu one in the Pokémon Channel, is maybe , because I’m a fan of the series, and Pikachu was my first Pokémon (my first game of the series was Pokémon Yellow). One pleasant sound effect I like is the cosmo sound from Saint Seiya, so maybe that could work for me too? I don’t know 🤷‍♂️, I may just be rambling.

asmr simply just isnt for everyone, which is oka. they only work w some people cause alot of ppl just think asmr is some sex fetish sh!t and dont or they dont take it seriously enough to make a good collab.

ASMR usually is related to sound, but it can be a visual thing too, that's why a lot of videos do things with lights or specific movements in front of the camera, and in Mazz's case certain physical things can cause it too, like when he said he was in a spa and the temperature changed. Lots of things can affect people, so if you're still looking be sure to try different things!

Hey Maaz, I have Auditory/Tactile Synesthesia which means I feel certain sound frequencies ranges and compounded rhythms instead of hearing them. Most people react to fingernails scraped down a chalkboard, which is a form of Auditory/Tactile Synesthesia. Fingernails and chalkboards cause no reaction for me. I have tried personal one on one sessions as well as listening and /or watching ASMR videos a few times and it has always been overstimulating both in a pleasurable and painful way. At one point in the last live session I tried, I had to scream, which scared the shit out of the person facilitating the session and me. I think AMSR might cause a person with their own neurodiversity (we are all wired differently) to experience a taste of what Auditory/Tactile Synesthesia feels like. I wish everyone would start celebrating and embracing neurodiversity in all its forms, our planet would become an easier place for everyone to live on.

She was the only ASMRtist I watched for a while, but know I’m getting into a few others, and having a much easier time. With ASMR It all depends on the person and the particular kind of triggers that they are doing that will affect how quickly I fall asleep. The fastest I think I have fallen asleep is between 3-5mins.
