I don't think I would have ever imagined myself watching a woman talk for 30+ minutes about perfume, but you make it so relaxing ad peaceful that I enjoyed every minute of it. Well all the ones I was awake for anyway haha. Thank you for some good sleep and another enjoyable video Soya.

Welcome back, it's always nice to see you! Perhaps we are picking up on each others brainwaves or something (maybe it is an ASMRtist thing haha). I have in fact been starting some new series. I'm actually in between three books atm (one is horror, the other two are fantasy. I'm on book two (A Clash of Kings) of A Song of Ice and Fire. I read a Game of Thrones when I was in high school, but for some reason, it didn't really vibe with me. However, I read it again this past November, and I'm really enjoying the series now. I know it's a very popular series so maybe you have already read it 🤷‍♀️ Fingers crossed that it does indeed get finished lol. The other series I have started is called Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erickson. I've seen it recommended on the fantasy subreddit and decided to give it a try. I'm only about 15% of the way through, but the magic system is intense! It starts off in the middle of a war, and so far not enough of the lore has been explained for me to understand what is happening XD I like the writing style though. Lots of imagery and good prose. I will keep you updated on how I like it upon finishing. Let me know if you have any recommendations of your own. I'm always looking for new fantasy :)

@@SoyaWhispers Hahaha that could be the case! ASMR artists big brain power. 😵‍💫 I thought I felt a disturbance in the asmr force this morning! 😂 And ooowww a Clash of Kings is a classic! Very good I must say! I mean if you have watched the show already then you'll pretty much know the basics on what happens. But as with 98% of any adaptation, the books are way more in depth! I have finished the Song of Ice and Fire books. So I'm super excited to hear how you do with them Soya! 😍 Let me know what you think of it! And then I can give you all the fun theories 🤗💙 And as for the Malazons book of the fallen, Ahh I see! So it has a lot of in depth magic and lore to it then my the sounds of it? Cool! 🤩 Yaaas! Please do keep me posted on how you do with that! 🥰 I mean for me I am possibly thinking of continuing from Brandon Sanderson's other books, coz apparently they are loosely linked to the Stormlight story. You hear Wit talking a lot about "other worlds". Well turns out that the "other worlds" Sanderson has already made books out of them! 😱 So I am intrigued to branch out of the Stormlight world and see where else is there and how they might link. I'm thinking of maybe starting the Mistborn Trilogy! But not sure yet. 🤔 There is also a book that I HUGELY recommend for you, as I think you'd like it for the dark humour and magic link with a bit of history. It's called the Age of Iron Trilogy by Angus Watson. If you can PLLLEEEAAAASE get the audiobook for it! The narrator makes it even more funny and better in my eyes! It takes place in the mysterious Iron Age of Britain and it focuses on both the British side with their warlocks and warriors and the Roman side with Julius Caesar leading the charge. Very interesting story. Dark and deep but also very funny! I was sceptical at first when my friend recommended it to me but now I love it! You'll have a blast with it no doubt! 🥰

Oooh thank you so much for this. I will check out Age of Iron. I love Dark and Deep. I've heard really good things about Mistborn too. Also, have you read any of the KingKiller chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss? I might have mentioned this in a video some years back so sorry if I'm repeating myself lol. I have a very porous memory. It's supposed to be a trilogy but only the first two books have been written, and I also really enjoyed both of them. It's a dark story but definitely not as eventful as Stormlight. That said, the prose is beautiful and i love Rothfuss' writing style. Another series I've read a bit of is the Dresden Files. They're urban fantasy. It's a bout a wizard-detective in modern day times, and they're soo funny! Definitely less serious and less ambitious than anything else I've mentioned. I listened to the audio versions for the first two books while on a road trip and the narrator does a great job. Wow I have a lot of books to read and a lot of opinions to give on them! Maybe I'll make a video or something when I've finished them all. You should make a video too! We can compare notes haha

@@SoyaWhispers Dawwn shucks! No worries! OH DAMNN!!! I haven't gone through the KingKiller chronicles yet!! But I really want to! I have heard good things about it! As for Dresden Files, i have not heard of that one! But I like the concept of that with the ubran fantasy. Sounds like good fun! Welp, i'll add that to my audible wish list then!😍 Also one more that I could mention (and again i've probably asked this one before but cant remember either) The Silmarillion and the Children of Hurin by the J.R.R Tolkien. Defiantly one of his deep and darker books from the lord of the rings universe....but be warned there are barely any happy hobbits. Its just the idea of creation of the world from the gods and the battle against the first dark lord and the elves being more the problem then the solution...you know... the casual every day read.😂 And dont worry buddy, I have short term memory so i know the feeling of forgetting things!😂Hence why I'm writing these down! No joke I'm making a list of these books thanks to you! haha🤓 Haha I would GLADY compare notes with you for future videos if you want! 😂 Serves us right for being fantasy book worms! Oh nice, I got their bleu de Chanel clone a while back. It wasn’t so close, but Bleu de channel is hard to clone apparently. I might try their dior sausage clone with the discount :).
