I was so chilled out for this entire video this gave me the greatest idea. There should be ASMR tutorials for all kinds of activities that people usually find stressful: doing your taxes, going to a job interview, speaking in public, etc. A great video as always, thank you.

Craig Thomas Hi there, I am actually an approved driving instructor and I have wanted to post an ASMR driving lesson video starting with the very first lesson and if it becomes popular then I will actually post an ASMR on all lessons covering all topics right up to test standard! Do you think this would be something folk would like? 😊

just an edit for potential learners watching, in thick fog, your car may have fog lamps, if so use those or use your low beams, your high beams will actually make it harder to see as the fog catches the light beams easier from the high beams, loved the video not bashing just for the safety of potential drivers!
@mrloguidice8 жыл бұрын
high beams will cause the light to reflect back at you so do be careful. again loved the video

Never use your highbeams in the fog Jen. They shine at a much higher angle than low beams in order to illuminate the road much farther ahead. At that angle, the fog just bounces the light straight back into your eyes. With that said, I love your videos Jen and this is an excellent one. Thanks for putting so much time and effort into them.

Not in the UK, pretty much everyone drives manual ^ ^
@googoobadabajagal10 жыл бұрын
That's cool. She'd be rare in the states.
@skins4thewin10 жыл бұрын
this is a sad sad statement. Learning to drive a manual is the easiest thing in the world. Best way to learn is to buy one and then you are forced to learn. It is not hard at all, and once you drive one you will never want to drive an automatic again, I promise you that.
@RedPanda52510 жыл бұрын
I've never heard it been called driving a stick! How funny. It's a manual car and it's extremely common way of driving here in the UK.
@googoobadabajagal10 жыл бұрын
It's not uncommon in the states. It just seems that a lot of people under 30 or so don't know how to drive a manual. That's just my observation.

@upsidedownbouncingonthecei17897 жыл бұрын
the brighter the light the more it reflects of the fog im not sure if you guys have them but here in sydney some cars have orange lights that don't reflect off the fog they just go through it. use them in fog, never use high beam
@psycmajor7 жыл бұрын
it's true, the light will reflect off the fog and make it worse. i'm not sure if highbeams mean something else where she's from but here in 'MURICA.. we only use high beams at night in clear weather on country roads when there are no cars nearby. if a car approaches, turn off highbeams and switch on regular headlights :)
@joshuamoore95196 жыл бұрын
Just to add a little to the discussion. Its not the brightness of lights that cause the fog to seem worse. Its about the beam. Regular lights or flood lights have a very wide beam. Fog lights have more of a pencil beam that cuts through the fog. "THE MORE YOU KNOW"

heres a tip: never let the clutch out slowly, what you really want to do is put the clutch in rev the fuck out of it and drop the clutch. stalling will be a thing of the past
@littledistractions7 жыл бұрын
JuStArAnDoMdUdE I do that sometimes now :D I hate using the damn handbrake on hills because I'm not fast enough to find the biting point of the clutch, so I stall.. that and I never put enough revs on for my 2003 ford KA. In panic mode I apply loads of revs. I only recently passed my driving test!! now all the money I earn in my almost non-existant job goes towards my insurance which is like £1.5k a year!

It's kinda confusing at first while driving in the UK. I've never done it (1- I've never been to England; 2- I don't have a driver's licence; and 3- I'd probably screw it up the first time, i.e. making a left turn when everyone's going right on a one-way street).

I've always driven a stick (I'm in the US) but when I bought my last car I was stuck in my drive way after driving off from the lot. The problem was that I didn't know how to get the god damn thing in reverse! It seems like there are a lot of different ways they try to trick you. Eventually I figured out I had to push the stick down toward the floor and then move it to R. I was stuck in my drive way freaking out that I was going to be late to class, lol ... that was ages ago, though. Driving in Southern California is sometimes tiring with a manual but I really enjoy the control you have of the car. Plus you're less likely to fall asleep.
