"Batoru rowairu" is one of my favorite Japanese films, nice to see you have it - I don't see it much in these kinds of videos. "Mononoke-hime" is probably my favorite Ghibli-film, so once again: good on you. And finally, my favorite Jet Li-film "Kiss of the Dragon" - splendid. :D

Lovely and fun video! A fantastic first watch of a movie is “Nightcrawler.” It’s an awesome thriller, but I’m also just a fan of most things Jake Gyllenhaal acts in as he normally is outstanding in his roles.

_Battle Royale_ is a masterpiece. I managed to buy Arrow Video's Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD box-set that was released here in the UK circa 2021, which has that and _Battle Royale II: Requiem_ on it, as well as a collector's booklet and several other extras. Sadly _Battle Royale_ turned out to be Kinji Fukasaku's final film; he died from prostate cancer whilst directing the sequel, so his son Kenta Fukasaku took over the directorial reins. I had seen _Battle Royale_ on DVD previously (it got a DVD release back in 2002 here) so I knew of that for quite some time before getting that box-set.

Battle Royale is such a unique and gripping movie! I can only imagine how it must look in 4K. It’s great to see how much care you’ve put into curating your collection! 🙌🔥 Thanks for sharing~

For Battle Royale, it was released in Japan in 2000, but didn’t release in the US until 2011.
