I don't think I find much of a difference between the audio for voiceovers or for regular filming. I do however prefer regular filming because it feels more intimate (not in a weird way) and like you're actually speaking to us because we can see your hand movements that correlate to what you're speaking about. Yessss. Voice overs sound more awkward because you can tell it’s not lining up right with the movements and it doesn’t feel as tingly.

TBH, I didn't even know it was a voice over. I was like, whoa, Villa is so hardworking recording 2 separate videos for us until I realised they were the same video. Lol. So I don't mind voice over/ live.

I prefer the voiceovers because with the regular filming, sometimes it’s hard to hear your voice because the tapping will drown out the sound of your voice. I feel like there is an even balance with the voice overs :)

I like the live commentary better. I usually watch both versions (soft spoken and no talking) so with the live commentary, I get to watch two different videos instead of having to watch the same exact video twice. It’s nice having the visual variety. I hope that makes sense

I loveeeeee the ‘live’ versions of soft spoken, I find hearing you talk whilst you tap and the changes in your tapping and hand movements so relaxing!! But the voice overs are also super relaxing.. tbh as long as you’re talking I’m happy 😂♥️ Ps those nails are GORGEOUS!

personally my fav will always be the old soft spokens with the zoom recorder, but i do enjoy these videos very much and i don't think the trigger and the voice are out of balance. i find that the voiceovers have a more crisp or sharp sound which i don't really like. also you kinda talk a bit different in these "live" spoken ones, idk but you seem more energetic and quirky which i like, and it's just way more natural :D

🛋 I would suggest you keep feeling out what works best with regard to voiceovers. Keep doing what you’re doing right now - some with the VO and some live. Eventually you will start to get a feel for which types of videos/ items/themes work best with the VO.
