Spreading this essential piece of information I discovered on @ASMR Shortbread's video. She had found out about it from a viewer on @Sarah Lavender ASMR's channel. The viewer had commented "If this video sounds weird or not as soothing as usual, go to settings on this video and toggle the "Stable volume" button. This is a new feature KZbin added and it can take away all the work ASMRtists do to create softness on their voice. Basically this new setting just equalizes the volume so it can make some ASMR videos grating instead of soothing." The setting adds a lot of white noise and when you switch it off the difference is very noticeable. Sadly, you need to switch it off in every video as far as I know. And ofc sometimes it's just not switching it off so you need to do toggle on it again. It will let you know when it's switched off.
