When frida was 15 she got into a car crash which she had to get 32 surgeries. She was a beautiful mexican painter and poet. She sadly passed away at the age of 44 in July,13 of 1954. I agree on her art being beautiful, but Frida was ugly and that's a fact(she had a monobrow,moustache, and ratty facial features) , which honestly speaks volumes of her art and charisma since she was pretty "popular"(wink wink nudge nudge) and, as you pointed out, had male and female partners. I went to Frida Kahlo's family home (La Casa Azul/Coyoacan) in Mexico City which is a museum containing some of her paintings...my personal favorite is the one of her Father (big eyes) and the personal tribute that she wrote to him under the painting. In a now defuncto piano bar in Tijuana's Zona Norte, I sat near one of her paintings (copy) and someone had put some rose petals at the frame's base...I am a big fan of Frida...great job Angelica!

I felt like I was back in third year of Spanish in high school. Nice feelings tho, I loved learning about people and things in the Spanish culture. And when we had to make an information project on famous Latin/Latino/Latina person I was tore between project covering a Spanish singer or an Firda 👩🏻‍🎨 But went with singer 🧑🏻‍🎤 as I felt musical energy that day. But I wonder would I have learned much more if I had covered Frida for that information project. Another alternative universe choose. Anyways take care everyone and stay safe out there.
