Had both my babyshowers at my house, my sisters organized all the food, decorations, flower arrangements, it was super super chill. I opened gifts (even though it felt like a lot of pressure), I did it anyway because so many people came and they got me so many beautiful things. Plus it's easier to do it in front of everyone because your sister or someone can write down who gave you what, etc for thank you cards ❤ Super fun. Def recommend doing it at home or someone else's casita 💕💙

I remember the custom cookies!!!! 😂😂😂😂 I hope to have the same for my daughters, I love the back drops, I love the flower walls with eucalyptus and peonies. There's so much neon walls but not bright colours, more like pastel lights, I love the big penny farthing bikes with candy carts and white wooden ferris wheels. There are some out of this world cakes. Wow that's such a 70s style cake, I adore that. ❤❤❤

I have never been to a bridal/baby shower where they didn’t open the gifts. I do enjoy getting to see all the great stuff they get, BUT, I despise having to set there for like 2 or 3 hours watching it. After an hour I’m like a squirmy 3 year old pitching a fit & I’m ready to go!!! Give me good food, give me delicious cake, let me socialize a little bit & after that, I’m out, like a fat kid in dodge ball!! ✌️🤭

I def never expect a favor at weddings or showers but if you have the means and it can be something people will actually enjoy / use, then it can be nice! And agreed - I have no understanding of why people would buy off the registry when it’s there for that entire reason to make it easy for the guests / get mom what she wants!
