Hi everyone, lots of you have noticed that the white noise has been louder than usual in my videos recently. I've been trying to get to the bottom of it, but im still not quite sure what the problem is! I hope you enjoy regardless and if anyone has any ideas or advice im all ears 😁

What are you using for your audio treatment? There's clearly a compressor/limiter on the audio chain, and I would guess that the gain is set too high and bringing up the noise floor. You notice it for example at 3:24, the limiter is off and the gain is super high, hence the noise. Then when you start speaking, the limiter kicks in and the noise disappears.

Gain up a bit and clipping of maybe connections? If I get anything I change cables to check.

it could be many things, after a certain point if you turn a microphone level too high there will be noise, a loose cable, sometimes noise is created from cheap usb power supplies, or even from the way power cables are plugged in to ur outlets like with adaptors or not, try different configurations, also theres music software that can digitally remove noise called izotope denoise

white noise or not, this is still one of my absolute fave unexplained/unusual medical exam videos! I think the way you dont restrict props to single sections but keep bringing them back and kind of using them in tandem in the last half of the video is sooooo effective! the clicker + measuring + writing continues to be lethal to me. and switching between tappy-sticks and face massage, then bringing back the air compressor and clicker throughout the remainder of the video. It just works so well!

ASMR is a subjective experience, and subjectively speaking, from 16:25 on was a beautiful parade of all of my fave props! I loved how you started the clicker section with body position instructions, which really added to the 'medical test/measurement' tingles, and I liked how you had a long clicker section but added variation with the measuring tape and face writing. The tappy sticks + face massaging nearly sent me plummeting into unconsciousness, luckily, the tingles from the air puffer and suction setion were so strong it kept me awake the rest of the video! Genuinely the strongest tingles I've had in a looooong time. Great video, thanks for posting!

You have to use the sound level of you camara in manual, not in automatic to reduce the white noise
