Very good work. I’ve been enjoying watching your progress on this project. Thanks for taking the time to film your work and sharing it with us. I look forward to the next installment. By the way, it was nice just watching the work without narration, but I’ve enjoyed your videos with narration just as much.

So I thought I would take a break from working on the Landy. I’m replacing the brakes, brake pipes, rear axle shafts, and front swivels. And while I’m at it , I’m cleaning/ scraping off 60 years of dried mud and cow manure. I come in to watch You Tube and what do I see?🤦🏼♂️😳🤩🥸😎🤓 Hahahaha! Nice work Russ.👍 Cheers Lance

Looks better. I dug out a surprising amount of crud from inside the axle bump stops which was trapping rust. An air hammer loosened the worst of it!

Ha ha ! These were not that bad but I rust primered and painted in between them so don’t expect to have any issues for some time. Thanks for the comment Russ😃👍

Sometimes the oil leaks have already been fixed, especially if it was done when it was on the road and just done as a quick repair, it’s potentially had 40+ years of grime and filth accumulating, in actual fact he’s best off cleaning everything back THEN seeing what leaks and repair accordingly, otherwise you just open a can of worms that didn’t need to be opened, it’s all too easy when fixing something to chase faults that didn’t exist
