I’m currently 20, but I started watching ASMR toward the tail end of 2011 at age 11 or 12. It’s crazy to me that I’ve just discovered this channel and have never known the source of this incredible community that I’ve been a part of for nearly half my life! I’m 21. I was getting ASMR tingles in 2007, so I was 8 years old, if only, if ONLY I started making whisper videos I would have been making them 2 years in advanced to the woman herself who started this community, that’s crazy that I could have started it... at only 8 years old... I should have that would have been something

I think most people got tingles as a child, I did too. I just didn't know what it was 😊 thanks for commenting.

WhisperingLife ASMR when I was in 2nd grade (2009) I had a music teacher who would speak very softly and would almost whisper to us when talking one on one. I would get “tingles” whenever she spoke, so I would ask her to repeat something she had just said so I could hear her talk again (weird I know). I would also get “tingles” whenever two laminated papers would rub against each other, the sound was amazing to young me. I think it’s so cool how back then I thought I was the only person in the world who got that sensation, because no one else could relate to what I was feeling, but it turned out that there are actually millions of people around the world who feel the same. I found ASMR around 2012 and I instantly realized that it was related to the sensation I was feeling. I’m so thankful that you pioneered this sensation on KZbin, you really changed my life in regards to relaxation and understanding the sensation of ASMR.
