I wanted to create an ASMR orbital exam that was both soft spoken and unintelligible up close.
Hopefully this does the job for your relaxation.

What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

Not sure I have ever commented how it’s not just your voice and accent that are tingle heaven, it’s all the technical knowledge you bring. You sound like the professional optometrist you are - not like someone just saying to “follow the light,” and “follow my finger.” The technical terms make it so tingly. There’s no hesitation while you try to think of something to say. You KNOW what to say (crystalline lens, retinal observation, etc.). I get goose bumps and go into a fog... lol.

What's so good about this is the unintelligible comes out convincingly as if this was a real examination. Oddly enough, that triggers the ASMR better than when someone is laying it on thick. Your unintelligible is more because the words run together and overlap a little bit and because we're not processing what you're saying, even if we could actually make out everything you were saying.

I had an eye exam today. I love the opthalmoscopy part because of the light trigger and they're so close I can hear their super quiet breaths. I especially like it when you can hear their throat open up as they take a breath. Idk why that's so relaxing but it is. Sounds kinda creepy to say that lol
