The first few seconds instantly transported me back to the early days of ASMR, when brushing and candlelight were staples of creating that cozy atmosphere (not that they aren't still used and well-loved nowadays!). It tucked me right back into that very special pocket of time - it's a strong memory and feeling of security and softness. 💜 Hello my lovely sweet Emma 💜 I hope you’re doing well. Oooh, I like face brushing, lol. I just woke up from a nap. I was helping my mom with grocery shopping this morning. It’s so warm here today, with the temperatures about 77°F (25°C) a lot of the snow is gone now. You’d never guess we had a major snow storm less than 2 weeks ago. Most of my garden is still covered in with snow but that’ll be gone by this weekend probably. It’ll be colder next week but at least most of the snow will be gone. Watched this for the first time yesterday. It helped heal a part of me I thought I’d worked on… “you deserve…” … I was sort of raised to believe nothing was deserved - everything had to be earned. I’ve worked on a lot of things (my therapist could probably buy beach front property off of me alone) ;) - but there’s things like this that hit me out of nowhere and sometimes I cry (in a “good way”… I think lol) So, thank you - from my 49 year old self who is still trying to learn how to and that it’s ok to relax… and the little kid inside who very rarely felt safe….
