Selenite flakes and splinters! This mineral shouldn't be going near the face or the eyes because it leaves little tiny spinters all over the place. It's also water and oil soluble, so getting it damp with either of those things increases the potential of getting harmful mineral shards in and around the eyes, nose, and mouth.

@@ariasialeshay2001 It does and it is toxic. the splinters that selenite sheds can also be skin and eye irritants. That's why when you handle it you have to clean your hands and avoid touching anywhere else on your body. Even the tumbled / polished selenite does this. I wish she'd used something else, since people who don't know this can make themselves and others sick or hurt them. It feels irresponsible.

Yes, in a way. What you're probably asking is "Does shaving the hair make the next coat grow in thicker?" To which the answer is no, but actually yes. The actual hairs yyou shave do not grow in any thicker, themselves, BUT shaving the area does cause the body to overreact and start growing more hairs in that spot to compensate for the sudden lack of hair, though not in an immediately noticeable amount. Or, what can happen is you've got all these new hairs slowly growing in starting at different times, and shaving the current ones evens out the playing field for the new ones, that way they all grow in at the same length, y'know?

i love these kind of videos but seeing someone use selenite on the face is crazy!! not safe at all. i worked at a crystal store for years and selenite was always warned to not use on skin / or near water / liquids. always do research before working with crystals. all crystals are not the same.
