The reason why we like is because we start off with light spice or whiskey burn. As you get use to the spice you start to get past the spice and start to enjoy the flavor. Same with whiskey, once you get past the ethanol you can taste the different flavors like vanilla or peanut. With spice after some time you actually start to enjoy the burn. You also start to look the different flavors of spice and the type of burns they give. Some have a slow after burn others have a up front burn. They all have different taste.
