Up to the point where your tire let you down, that was an excellent ride-along. I listen carefully to your trip narrations, but this one, with just the natural sounds, was also good, so, thank you. Bummer about the flat. Wishing you well on the repairs.

{ tl;dr. EUC traffic and roadway design problem.} If we lived in a world where mostly EUCs dominated the transportation landscape, would the traffic lines on all streets be wavy, undulating, sinusoidal pathways that guide us into a natural side -to-side flow? Would the period of that wave be proportional to the expectations of safety within a range of speed proportional to the terrain, and would this negate the need to continuously look over one’s shoulder to ensure that we don’t collide with others whom share the roads? And, if this were reality, would the higher speed passing lanes be progressively longer as speeds increase so that passing another vehicle on the right side would be mildly physically uncomfortable? And lastly, would traffic lines be non-permanently painted on the road surfaces but, instead, be projected by lasers so that the lane widths and speed targets be proportional to the rider density for optimal throughput? How would you like roadways/trails to be designed once EUCs dominate the world?

Good question, I’m not sure. It’s usually on whether or not my headlight is on but it is definitely off right there. It worked when I rode last night 🤷🏾‍♂️
