Yes, this was my trigger as a little girl too. My mother would flip through pattern books and pull patterns from the drawer. Could sit and watch her do that all day. Long before we all knew what asmr was. She's been gone for a long time. Thank for bringing back such good memories of her and these pattern books. I never did learn how to sew.

I would love to find a library card catalogue but I doubt they exist around me anymore unfortunately... I agree that the sounds would be amazing!! Hi Tracy, I wonder if fabric stores give away out of date pattern books. I used to be able to get free wallpaper sample books that were out of date just by asking for them. Love the sounds here -- thanks.

I tried, they told me they send them back to the vendor..but I did just get a last season copy from them on their website...Half off. woohoo...! It's not quite as big as these old ones but it will still do the trick :)

I haven't forgotten, I've had both rotten timing trying to pick up a typewriter and the one I could have gotten was a piece of junk so I'm still looking I haven't forgotten!

+Kirstiebear ASMR just letting you know I still haven't forgotten ..I actually made a keyboard video but it was in the lobby of the hotel on their keyboard and in the beginning the background noise is just too loud in my opinion...and also music in the background..I thought some background noise might work and some of it did, but not all of it...haven't scored on a typewriter yet but haven't forgotten :) I may try to see if I can salvage the video but not looking good so far ... I promise I will get it done ...
