When we were kids, my mother used to wake up my brother, my sister, and me by gently rubbing our upper chest, just below our chins. It was the most soothing way to wake up… ever. She passed away several years ago, but it’s one of the many wonderful things about her that we still talk about. She was an amazing woman in so many ways. Thank you for the reminder. Hope you and your loved ones & boyfriend are able to share all these good things too.

My goodness. So soft and gentle. I was raised in a Mennonite home and touch, affection and gentleness weren't always on display. I believe life is often made up of energy exchange. Deep within us, even if we never experience them or we forget or we fall ill, all energy and forms reside within us. It is always possible to ignite or illuminate energy we may not know we need or forget we want and sometimes even letting energy in requires energy to give it a path. When we find the path, how we move along it and the route the path takes comes in as many forms as there are people. The ones that heal us and help us thrive are the ones that are right as well as the ones we need and If there is one thing we can do for ourselves and each other it’s to allow and give energy to help us remember and be who we need and deserve to be.
