2003 here as well. 2000-05 is definitely a weird era bc you're too young to be considered a 90's kid even tho you grew up with the same stuff as them, but you're too old to relate to anyone born late 2010's. Early 2000s is when technology started to boom so while it's been there most of our lives, we still remember a time when we liked the idea of going out and touching grass 😂 and also late 90's toys and school activities give me SO much nostalgia

I’m a 2006 kid and this made me think about being really young again. My mom and dad both got the iPhone 4, and since I wasn’t allowed to have a phone since 7th grade, I would play where’s my water and flow puzzles on their phones. Eventually they gave me one of their phones as my first phone. The Wii came out a month after I was born, and it was my childhood console alongside the ps3. I remember playing Kirby’s epic yarn, Mario Galaxy, Rayman Raving Rabbids, and also Rayman Origins and Little Big Planet. Unfortunately my Wii died a while ago, but I can still play my games on my Wii U. I still have crocs, but not my old pair, as those broke over time.

Okay everone we should make it clear about Gen Z: 1997- 2004 are Gen Z with influence of millenials 2005-2012 are Gen Z with influence of gen Alpha. It's very fluid. Your birth date depend to which generation you are closer too. 2012 for example even tho they're gen z "on paper" they will the have most common with gen alpha.

1997 here! I feel like i'm everyone's big bro haha so i will act like one (?): i'm proud of you! no matter who you are, no matter where you're from i'm glad to have you here. Life can be hard sometimes especially in your teens and early 20s, there's a lot of confusion about your future, your career, your identity, your place in this world, but don't worry, having doubts is completely normal and i assure you things will get better with time (yes, even your anxiety and depression: there will be life beyond your suffering). i'm sending you the warmest virtual hug 🫂 i hope you have a great day! 2006 baby here, never had the Wii I had the 2010 Xbox 360 with that nice smooth intro. I had so many games on that thing and loved it so much. I didn’t have a phone until I was like 9 or 10. Even then I still didn’t have an iPhone until 10 or 11. Before I didn’t though my parents computer was entertainment next to the tv. It was my escape from reality having to move from state to state and place and place on the daily ever since early childhood to even now. The cartoons I will forever cherish and KZbin channels that have either stayed or forgotten will have a place in my heart. My core memories was when I was either 3-4 and seeing the last air bender with my sister it was the final episode. Using windows xp…yeah that’s how old I am to remember that fucking thing, played a lot of sidmeiers pirates on it. And having my dog king Richard by my side ever since I was a baby. I miss you boy. I’ll meet you one day brother. 🥲

Hey Matty, this is a cool theme of videos with the generations. I am a geezer…GenX, lol but I enjoy all the content overall. I thought of a cool idea for a role play that I think you would knock out of the park. Personally, I’ve noticed that I get some ASMR when listening to a computer tutorial, like when the instructor is clicking around the screen, explaining and showing a demo of something. Also, similar vibes when the IT guy remotes into your computer and he’s clicking around the screen fixing something. Both are very ASMR inducing to me, I think some others have to experience it too. And you would do this perfectly since you’re so into tech, and have the awesome nicest roleplay themes. Just a suggestion, hope you can make it happen someday!

Instead, you could potentially do a livestream of Guitar Hero, with a separate mic track for the button clicking, then stitch clips together with narration and the game footage without audio. OK, you have to include the baby Boomer's (1946 - 1964) some of us are still here, we are not all dead yet, lol. The after generations take everything they were born into for granted, these are some of the things we dealt with on a daily basis which I think "Present" generations would have a brain freeze over. 1. No cellphones just rotary dial up home phone and numeric pagers, 2. Black and white TV's with only 12 local channels (no internet back then), 3. Even before 8 track tapes we only listened to vinyl records, 4. We took pictures with our Kodak cameras with the square bulb flash and then waited days to have our pictures developed at the local pharmacy or fotomat. I could go on and on but you get the idea.

I wasn't born into squat, my mother struggled. And I struggle now. We're not even considered middle class. So stop acting like we have it easy nowadays. It's all about timing and perspective. It is disrespectful to act like we all have a silver spoon because we were born in this time.

OK people calm down, my comment has nothing to do with being rich or poor or your life social status, it was simply a comparison of technological advances since the Boomer generation.
@Afk.youtubr4 ай бұрын
@@ortsac891 i understand that, I apologize for my aggressive tone in my previous comment. It's true we have a lot more technology. But I wish it wasn't so. People think we are more connected than ever but the truth is we aren't. My friends don't have to show up to my house to get ahold of me, so they don't. They just call or text. I still go out of my way to show up in person whether I know they'll be home or not. It may be taken for granted, this is true. But I also think that we'd be better off without a lot of the technology that is wildly accessible.
