I know this video is a bit old, so perhaps you've already found this or another remedy, but in regards to the candle going out-- try wood wicks. They're more dense and the flame withstands your breath better. I know this because i burn lots of candles, and in the process of blowing them out, discovered that i like the sound it makes! 😂 so its cool to see that being used by an actual ASMRtist. Also, wood wicks often have a slight crackle while burning which can be nice for ASMR. You can get all kinds of cool sounds by fanning with your hands or using different breaths. There are also sparkler candles for birthday cakes of course, some with larger sparks and some with more subtle ones.

For the candle, I would suggest going to Yankee Candle Company and buy one of their wood wick candles. It’ll crackle while burning and doesn’t require you to blow on it or wave it around 😅❤
