I’ve gone a step further than Raffy Taphy who said S words are the best words. I’ve experimented endlessly and figured out that the very best words are words where an S is immediately followed by a plosive (a letter that makes your lips send out a burst of air, including b, c, p, but not w, l, or r). Toasted coconut has the S in toasted followed by a T, which is a plosive. Skittle is good too. Stipple, purples (if you say it multiple times so it sounds like spurple), spartan, stoic, so on. Hell, even the sksk sound fits. I think my hunch is proving correct recently, keep an eye out for it when you’re watching asmr.
