This paper is called cotton rag paper and is made from recycled cotton rags. As you said, they're thicker than usual wrapping papers and have a soft, fabric-like texture.

I love the style of your new tutorials. They are just beautiful. I can’t imagine how long it takes you to come up with the ideas or how many times you have to practice them before you film them. You must have so much patience. You have my dream job. As a child, if I was ever asked what I wanted to do when I grew up, I always answered that I wanted to be one of the elves in Santa’s workshop so that I could wrap presents all year round! Growing up, I never thought that I was going to be a gift wrapping artist one day...but things happened and I was wrapping gifts for thousands of people before I knew it. For so many years, it really felt like that I was one of the elves in Santa's workshop during the holiday season. 😊🎅 Some ideas come instantly as I start wrapping while others take a much longer time to come up with a design and make prototypes before creating the final wrappings. Either way, I enjoy the process of making gift wrapping. 🥰 I hope you're enjoying this year's holiday wrapping! Have a lovely week to you too!

@@ShihoMasuda I’m loving having the time to wrap things with a design in mind, rather than just trying to wrap everything as quickly as possible on Christmas Eve! I just wish that it was easier to get hold of good quality wrapping paper in the uk. Maybe I should think about opening a shop? Actually that’s not such a bad idea . . .

If the purpose of wrapping is just to hide the content with pretty paper, rushing to wrap gifts on Christmas Eve is okay, but we want to enjoy the process of wrapping by connecting to our feelings and thinking of our loved ones. How fun the idea of opening your own Sand's workshop 🥰 where you'll have all your favorite papers and wrapping materials while sharing your wrapping ideas with customers! Let me know if you ever open one, I'd love to visit the shop and we can do the gift wrapping workshop together!
