The video quality in this video is sooooooooo good. The mics are on point - it really sounds as if you were whispering in our ears. Plus, the video looked very crisp and nice in general. On top of that, the video was also amazing from a content perspective because I drifted into sleep so quickly. So in short, great video, Lauren! Edit: also, regarding the lens used on this video, I liked how it look. however, i think the other one is a better choice if you want to make a video that relies a bit more on hand movements just because your hand looks closer.

On the topic of personal attention, the camera setup like this would work with maybe a "follow the light" or something glowing as the hands themselves are out of focus, the out of focus light might cause a neat lens flare effect.

Personal attention is the best attention 😌 Possibly prefer the other lens. But if I'm honest, my eyes are usually closed pretty early into most ASMR videos. So whatever works best for you works for me. 😊

I love the 50mm and the compression that it brings, probably more than your wide lenses. Longer lenses look really good!

I definitely agree! It also bring a much clearer image, but a lot of people prefer my 24mm lens for the up close hand movements to make it more personal, I’ll definitely use both for different videos :)

I like both the "up close" and the "further out" (like this video) hand movements. Variety is where it's at! I will say, I don't love the hands being out of focus...it gives me a bit of a headache if I try to watch them.

You can close the aperture a bit so your hand would be in focus and because it already has 50mm of focal depth background will still be blurry.

Heyyyyyyy I got like trance tingles I was resting right, then they made it down my back. That was so refreshing knowing I'm not as tense as a knot, because I'm knot. I think this lens is better for just random hand movements because your hands don’t take up as much of the screen and it’s makes it less crowded. But for a more personal attention type of thing I think the usual one is better. But overall I personally like this one because everything seems less cramped in the frame.

OK here's my judgment - this lens is really cool cos it looks like a movie, but it's less visually tingly than your other one bcos as you say your hand is further away, and I did get visual tingles from the other video where your hand comes really close. Howeverrr, I usually just listen to your ASMR while I work / study so I'm not watching the video most of the time - but others might be! So I'll leave this dilemma right there for you to figure out :D
